What does Legal Expenses cover?
Legal Protection is an optional extra that sits alongside your caravan insurance under its own underwriter, terms, cover sections and exclusions.
- Underwritten by Arc Legal Assistance Ltd
- Provides cover for Contract Disputes relating to the purchase, sale or rental of goods and services connected to your caravan, including disputes arising from the sale or purchase of the caravan itself.
- Provides cover for Property Infringement, helping with the legal costs of pursuing action against individuals or organisations that interfere with your legal rights in relation to the storage or siting of your caravan.
- Provides cover for Criminal Prosecution Defence, covering advisers' costs to defend proceedings brought against you following a road traffic accident involving your caravan whilst it is being transported.
- Provides cover for Personal Identity Fraud, including assistance with removing County Court Judgments (CCJs) and liaising directly with organisations where policyholders have allegedly purchased goods or services.
- The maximum amount payable under the policy is £25,000.
- No excess applies to claims made under Legal Expenses.
